Tom Shank: President
Tom Shank brings over 18 years of industry experience and expertise to Advanced Benefit Concepts. Tom served over 9 years as a Sales Representative at Met Life in the Philadelphia market where he sold Group Ancillary Products & Individual Disability policies. He also worked closely with Met Life agents in selling Term Life Insurance, Whole Life, and Universal Life products. In 2006 Tom joined Sun Life Financial where he managed the Philadelphia Group Sales Office. Soon thereafter, Tom established and managed a new Sales Office for Sun Life in North Jersey in 2007 and by 2008 his office was respectively awarded Sun Life’s Group Office of the Year. With a strong ancillary and individual background, Tom brings a knowledge and passion to the brokerage community in their search to find their clients the best products and prices available.Tom is also a member of both the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU).
Lindsay Evitts: Account Executive
Lindsay Evitts is a licensed producer who has over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry. Lindsay joined Advanced Benefit Concepts in July of 2009 after spending over 2 years at Sun Life Financial in the North Jersey Group Sales Office. With a well-versed background in both Employee Benefits and Individual sales, she specializes in generating new business, developing current business and establishing broker relationships. Lindsay serves as the primary liaison between our agents and the carriers to ensure that both the agent’s and their client’s needs are met. Lindsay is also an active a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
Melanie Goodstadt: Medical Account Manager
Melanie Goodstadt is a licensed producer with over 9 years of experience in the group health insurance industry. Melanie joined Advanced Benefit Concepts in March of 2014 after 5½ years as an account manager with a New Jersey-based insurance broker. At ABC she is the primary contact between our agents and the health insurance carriers to ensure that processes run smoothly. Melanie specializes in customized plan comparison, new business processing, renewals while keeping our agents udpated on the latest news and changes in Healthcare Reform.
Alyssa Donovan: Sales Coordinator
Alyssa has over 3 years of experience in sales support and customer service. As a Sales Coordinator, Alyssa handles the everyday ancillary administration duties which range from processing enrollments, terminations & changes to handling billing and other group administrative questions. With her rapid responsiveness and detailed resolutions, Alyssa offers the highest level of customer service that gives our agents peace of mind.
Ann Marie Fleming: Commissions and Licensing Specialist
Ann Marie Fleming brings over 9 years of Insurance experience to Advanced Benefit Concepts. Ann Marie serves as our Licensing and Commissions Specialist who keeps our agents up-to-date on their licensing/contracting while making sure their commissions are paid in full and on time. Ann Marie provides excellent customer service and brings energy and enthusiasm to all facets of her job.
